They were a lucky find if I do say so myself.

I was already pairing outfits in my head when I was trying these bad boys on.

It was a friday night and I great group of girls that were down to go out

and do some dancing!

There is nothing quite like it when you can let your hair down and

dance, dance, dance!

I had stopped by Urban Outfitters prior to this night and actually got luck with a few pieces.

Including this dress... it reminded me of Studio 54 so it was a must.

Then when I found out it was $7 it was a given!

I paired it with my over the knee Marc Jacobs boots... these boots are my FAV!

They literally scream rock and roll.

Since yesterday was beautiful and being cooped inside all day the day before,

I knew I wanted to partake in some kind of out door festivity.

So the zoo it was!

It was so fun, and made me feel like a kid again...

We saw gorillas, lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, meercats flamingos and more!

I love mixing my concert tees with unexpected pieces like this plain one.

Then throwing the shag coat over for a more dramatic vibe...

I was fortunate to have a great one,

I had an amazing dinner which was followed by...

throwing on something a little festive and grabbing a drink with my girls.

I found this hot pink tinsel mini for a $1!!!

I know I was in shock... but that's is what I love about the hunt of vintage shopping...

When it comes to jewelry I have been really into mixing and matching silver and gold together.

It gives outfits a bit more depth and edge.

So it was Friday night and we hit up Sunset Blvd...

for the KROQ Locals Only show at The one and only Roxy,

where some guys we know in the band Dead Country rocked it!

I've literally been living in these shoes all week!

For rock shows I think its fun to play it up with makeup so I loaded

on the purple shadow and created a smokey eye with it... ;)

Like I mentioned it has been warming up!

So I was finally able to throw on this little ruffled summer dress....

I found it in the dead of winter (of course) at a vintage store and even though it was freezing

I knew I would put it to good use when the time was right.

I paired it with some country style boots and added my military jacket for a bit of edge.

It's warming up a bit here in LA,

so the layers are slowly coming off which leads to a more of a minimalistic look.

Which is key for spring/summer and gives you and effortless look!

This is my go to long dress from City of Dolls, the fabric is this awesome light weight rib that gives the dress more of a grunge vibe.

To add a little something of my personality to it, I tied a know on the lower part of the dress and paired with cool boots and a rad hat!
