I was going through my laptop this weekend,

clearing out all unnecessary photos and documents and while I was in the middle of it I found these old images!

They were shot maybe a year and a half ago but I still love them and feel that the style of these pics are still very current.

I love the mystery a person has while wearing a little mask.

I have never been to a masquerade party.... But maybe this year!

So after a successful day of shopping and an awesome night out with the gals,

we woke up ate a great breakfast then the spent the rest of our day on Haight Street,

before we had to return to the airport and head home.

The trip was short, sweet and definitely worth it.

I believe it is good to get out of our bubbles we are so comfortable with, that is almost routine to us...

even if you just drive a couple hours away, do it and make it into an adventure!

I thought my courdoroy bell bottoms, striped top and denim shirt were the perfect combo for cruising Haight Street...

AND!!! Let me tell you I scored some great finds, I'm excited just thinking about these pieces!

So talk about spontaneous!

My girlfriend Kat and had an itch to go somewhere where we could snag some great vintage finds...

So we hopped on a plane Saturday morning and landed in San Francisco before noon!

We walked around the mission district then made it back to Union Square where we were staying and had some champagne!

We ate at the most delicious little Mexican joint recommended by Aimee from Song of Style.

Then met up with Aimee, Jules from Sincerely Jules and their boys.

After that we made our way to the Polk district and hung out at my fav SF bar The Kozy Kar!

I have been so into the color red lately so it was no surprise when I saw this cute little 70's secretary dress that I bought it and have also worn it twice in the pass week... shhh!

I am in texture as well so that's why I paired it with these tights then the thigh highs for an extra little something...

No you all must have realized how much of a music junkie I am...

So it's no surprise that I grabbed my girls and we hit up the House of Blues

to see Steel Panther!

Now if you have not heard of Steel Panther...

they are an 80's metal cover band.

Can you say AMAZING!!

So of course when it came time to put together an outfit

I knew I wanted bright colors and form fitting clothing with a little bling!

I went with a sequined mini skirt, a tight red halter top and sky high heels.

Kelly Bundy would of been proud =)

I REALLY do LOVE clothes!

I love mixing and matching and seeing what works together, it the best part about going out.

This past weekend it was a friends birthday so we went out and danced the night away.

We added ring pops to our outfits which were bright fun and tasty!

I do not recommend to try at home though.....

they become very sticky and attract fuzz and hair....

Now for some exciting news.....

It was a blast!

Now the last time I wore this jumper I added a sweater over it since it was cold outside

So you weren't really able to see the full affect of it BUT now you can!

I love the tiered affect of it and how it looks awesome under really big jackets!
