not quite cold enough yet to store away all my summer clothes!

Which is making my closet quite full.... aye aye aye

I love this little skirt I scored while vintage shopping with my mom awhile back.

It's nice and breezy but will transition to fall great with tights because of autumn color palette.

Well it is Halloween weekend!

As you all know...

I'm a boot girl! So I busted out my balenciaga's for this outfit...

I love how the boots give and edge to my otherwise softer outfit as does my got to military jacket....

This sweater I received from one of my currently favorite lines Tigerlily!

The holes and shoulder pattern gives the sweater an extra something without it looking so regular. And that is just my style... I like anything a bit un regular!

It was a beautiful fall day yet the sun was shinning...

so I knew I could get away with wearing my favorite daisy dukes one more time!

At the moment I'm really into silk blouses with attached bows/ties to them.

To me they have a richer look to the blouse which is key when dressing for fall.

I also love how the polka dot blouse plays with the aztec sweater,

kinda of unexpected in a way.

And we all know.... I love the unexpected!! =)

I am ga ga over long sleeved maxi dresses at the moment...

and this one by City of Dolls is all kinds of perfect!

The fabric is like butter, so soft and cozy that it makes it perfect for this fall weather.

And for a bit of added warmth I just through on some tights underneath.

Another added plus about this dress are the thumb holes!

I looooove thumb holes in fall/winter, they kinda act like mittens.

I'm going to be doing a give away with City of Dolls soon so STAY TUNED!!

This post is a little mish mosh of 2 fabulous girl nights!

The photos on top are from my quick trip to SF when I shot for Nasty Gal,

I was able to meet up with my favorite SF gals... (left to right)

Laura from On the Racks, Jennie from Going West, Me & Liz from Late Afternoon

We had such a blast drinking our drinks on a water bed that was placed right next to the bar listening to the most amazing music! They played all my favorite rock songs...

I think we could definitely stir up some trouble in the city....

The next photos are from last night my girlfriend Stephanie and I started out at Katsuya just in time for Happy Hour! We had our Bellini's and munched on our favorite sushi dishes...

The we made our way to see Phantom of the Opera....

at the Pantages Theatre, which by the way was amazing, the music was so powerful and the performances were perfect!

So it was just recently one of my Bestie's Stephanie's Birthday!

And let me tell you it was pink, sparkly and there was even a Barbie cake!

Needless to say Stephanie loves all things Barbie...

The party was amazing we had the outside patio to ourselves at the Crescent Hotel

in Beverly Hills...

With cupcakes and champagne there was definitely a sugar over load.

I had been waiting for an occasion to wear this dress that I bought maybe 3 years ago.

Why do us gals do that? Buy a dress without a purpose or event to wear it to?

I guess it's just one of those things...... Oh well =)

A couple of my friends and I went to eat at this little place I like to call my hidden treasure in Hollywood....

But I guess it's time for me to spill the beans on it and share it with the world!

It a restaurant called Grub and that's EXACTLY what it is!

California comfort food at its BEST! So if you are in Hollywood then make you sure you try it!

Now can we talk about my sweater? I'm in LOVE with it...

I could wear it for 3 days in a row if not more, its so cozy and definitely one of the pieces you find yourself drawn too. Where you keep picking it out of your closet even though you wore it the day before.....

That my friends is true love...

Chunky knits are a must and don't be afraid to pair 2 chunky knits together!

I pulled these suckers (my boots) out from storage the other day

It felt like Christmas finding things I forgot I had...

I like storing things away when a season is over, not only do you gain more closet space but you forget about the items, then they are new to you again when it is time to pull them out!
