I have been wanting a bright color jean so I was stoked to grab some here, I plan on busting them out this fall/winter too with some chunky knits.

I was so excited opening a package and receiving this awesome skirt from The Scarlett Room.

I love the sheer and lace trending that is going on right now,

 but this skirt is extra special because of the high slit add's the perfect finish to it....

 Throwing on a tee helps turns this outfit into a casual look!

I fell in LOOOOVE with these shoes as soon as I saw them!

And the best part is... they are extremely comfortable.

They have a bit of a punk vibe to them with all the straps....

Kinda like a Courtney Love thing going on with them.

To add to the grunge affect I added the flannel that I cut up.

I cut off the sleeves and made it more into a crop top!

I have been loving maxi skirts for awhile now....
I love just being able to throw it on then building from there, it's fun to learn and see what may or may not work.
But I like to think there are no rules and if I like it then I'm happy!
It was an errand day so I wanted to be somewhat comfortable, I opted for a fitted tank, clogs and I was out the door!

I love it! It has a 70's DVF vintage feel to it.... very Studio 54!

This will be one of my go to dresses for those hot summer nights where you have late dinners and drinks.....

When it's as hot as it has been you crave pieces like this where you can feel the breeze go through it and touch your skin...

I like pairing it with the Litas to keep the look a bit tough and not to pretty.
