It's officially Summer and let me tell you...

It has been HOT HOT HOT these past couple days in LA

So short shorts and crop tops seem like the way to go.

I do like skirts but I prefer shorts so when I find a pair that have a cute print that would seem fitting on a skirt... I snag them!

I found these Betsey Johnson ones at a sample sale

and have had for years and still love them...!

I plan on pairing them with all my rocker tops and trying them with un expected pieces as well....

They are so fun and fresh, gotta love Jeffrey Campbell!

As for my top, I'm pretty lucky my bf is handy with scissors.

He has a natural way with fashion and I love that he cuts up tee's for me =)

The weather has been crazy so layers have been key and this is one of my favorite rompers that I found at Urban Outfitter maybe a year ago.

I like pieces that I can hold onto and keep wearing and updating to keep it fresh.

I'm a boot girl and these are some bad ass boots!

I love the fact that they are camel colored such a different twist to really make these boots special.

I will be rocking them with shorts and summer dresses and carry them into fall with maybe some 70's flare denim?

To me there is something so 60's about this tunic....

I imagine that he girl who owned this piece wore it to a music festival during the time when it was summer of love.

She has flowers in her hair and not a worry in the world.

Sh had loads of turquoise jewelry on and the smell of patchouli would be her scent.
