Every year in LA the Mondrian Hotel hosts a white party for Labor Day...

held at their outside bar where you can over look the whole city.

It has to be one of the best views in LA!

We all made sure to drink clear cocktails and had neon glow sticks to add bright punches of color to our outfits.

It was a good time and no one got spilled on!

So all in all it was a great night and probably the last time I will be able to wear this dress until next summer =(

Unless any of you have any idea's how to make it fall appropriate?

Why is it that whether it be a boyfriend's or just a guys t shirt

sometimes they are just more comfortable?

I have always wondered....

This look for me has to be one of my everyday go to looks.

I love really skinny jeans with a cool over sized rocker tee and of course a killer pair of heels.

I "borrowed" this tank from one of my guy friends and I'm not sure if I plan on giving it back.

I have grown attached to it...

I am liking how it drapes on the body and the super low arm holes so you can catch a glimpse of the colored bra... Now onto the SHOES...

These Jimmy's have studs which give the heels a bit of a dangerous edge, 2 words...

I have been searching for the perfect flair jean and I found it!

They are the perfect shade of a worn in light denim with a couple of holes....

I found them by accident when I was browsing the store LF's massive yearly sale where everything is 60% off!

So...

I ended up getting an amazing deal to say the least.

I adore the laid back vibe the light denim flare has, very flower child rocker chic =)

They are perfect for now and I will definitely be rocking them this fall/winter with boots loads of layers and a killer hat!

I love music and a bit of a metal/rock n roll chic.

I shot these for my friends line called Rogue Monk and he wanted a bit of disheveled raw look.

Which made it fun for me. I got to mess up my hair whip it around and make crazy faces =)

I feel like the Ray Bans added a nice touch as well... a bit of a Rollings Stones mag vibe.

I could see Lizzie Jagger rocking this look!

This past weekend was the Sunset Strip Music Festival...

They blocked off sunset blvd and placed 2 stages opposite each other where bands would take turns performing. I had a shoot earlier that day but made it in time for a bit of Slash's performance featuring Fergie. Then for one of my all time fav's....

Smashing Pumpkins! They killed it, it was a blast!

Oh and I ate at the Shrimp Pimp truck which was so good! I recommend the drunken shrimp tacos!

This past friday was the Nasty Gal/Lookbook Party in SF and boy was it fun!

I have not seen so many well dressed peeps in one room in a while...

It was refreshing to see everyone be creative and really not hold back with showcasing their style...

I met up with Jennie from GoingWest and met fellow blogger Christina from ItsChristinaLy

We chatted and met more new people then danced the night away...

Over all it was an Amazing night =)

I recently scored some great pieces!

These Current Elliot jeans I have been eyeing and to my surprise when I was browsing the Barneys warehouse sale I saw them on there marked way DOWN,

So of course I grabbed them and it made my day!

The light pink paired with the gray has been a combo of mine that I am loving at the moment...

I feel it's very appropriate for summer, the brown shoes and belt give it a bit of edge so it's not too soft....

I was also recently sent a fun package of glasses from 80's Purple and I have been obsessing over them all! So fun to wear!

California Girl...

Shorts - DIY / Hat - Bloomingdales / Shawl - F21

A couple weeks ago I shot with photographer Sasha Eisenman...

We headed up past Malibu to some amazing secret little beach locations!

It was so beautiful and warm (thank goodness since LA weather is up & down)

It was very laid back which I love, he picked out some of the clothes I brought then I go to run around the beach and hang out while he snapped the camera.

Don't you love how there is a 60's/70's vibe to these photos? They look vintage, I'm stoked!

He was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with him again =)
